Henderson Concert Band
was once a military band many years ago.
The band was renamed to Henderson Concert Band in 1995.
Throughout the years, Henderson Concert Band had grown alot.
In 1998, Mr Badrul Hisham took over the band as our Band Director
and Mr Faizal Bin Othman became our Assistant Band Director.
Till today, the band has a strength of 52 members.

the audience sees and hears the band as a whole, not individual.



GREAT JOB for the performance in Genting! =) Really proud of you, oranges! I'm sure you've learnt a lot from the trip, be it as an individual or as a section -- APPLY THEM! Each section has got your own parts to work on.

Remember, at the end of the day, we play music as a band. We go up
to the stage as a band. The audience listen to us as a band. The judges judge us
as a band. If one of the sections do not improve, it will pull the band down.

You would want to experience the thrill of victory again for SYF, don't you? The screaming, shouting, cheers, hugs, tears all that we had in Genting. It all lies in our hands. Do not be complacent with what we've achieved. There are rooms for improvements.

On the lighter note, please work on our choice & set piece during the break! By working on your own parts, it will help to lessen the amount of work we need to do when we resume our practices. Do drink more water & take good care of yourself! Many of you are starting to fall ill.. Lastly, if you haven't touch your homework, its time to start! :P Enjoy your break, see you on 16th dec! =)
